Introduction/Why I'm Studying Japanese

 

こんにちは！

I first developed an interest in Japan and Japanese culture back in middle school, when some of my friends introduced me to anime like Naruto and Dragon Ball. I've heard of the titles, but I didn't know too much about them, so I decided to give them a try and I liked what I found. 

Since then, I've developed an interest in Japanese culture, food, and the language itself. I enjoy learning languages, and have experience some in western languages, but after being accepted to Notre Dame, I decided to try Japanese.
